1. When the ball valve is closed, there is still a pressurized fluid inside the valve body.
2. Before repairing the ball valve, relieve the pressure of the pipeline and make the valve in the open position.
3. Before the ball valve is repaired, disconnect the power supply or air source.
4. Before maintenance, detach the actuator from the bracket.
5. It is necessary to find out that the pressure of the upstream and downstream pipelines of the ball valve has been discharged before the disassembly and decomposition operation can be carried out.
6. Care must be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surface of the parts during disassembly and reassembly, especially non-metallic parts, and special tools should be used when taking out the O-ring.
7. The bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, gradually and evenly during the assembly of the ball valve.
8. The cleaning agent should be compatible with the rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working medium (such as gas) in the ball valve. When the working medium is gas, the metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline. Non-metallic parts are cleaned with purified water or alcohol.
9. The decomposed individual parts can be cleaned by dipping. Metal parts that still have undecomposed non-metallic parts can be scrubbed with a clean, fine silk cloth impregnated with cleaning agent (to prevent the fibers from falling off and sticking to the parts). When cleaning, all grease, dirt, glue, dust, etc. adhered to the wall must be removed.
10. Non-metallic parts should be taken out of the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, and should not be soaked for a long time.
11. After cleaning, it is necessary to assemble after the volatilization of the washed wall cleaning agent (you can wipe it with a silk cloth that is not soaked in the cleaning agent), but it should not be left for a long time, otherwise it will rust and be polluted by dust.
12. New parts also need to be cleaned before assembly.
