There are mainly the following different types of ball valve connections:
Flange-connected ball valve: The valve body has flanges at both ends, which correspond to the flanges on the pipeline, and the flanges are fixed in the pipeline by bolts. Flange connection is the most commonly used connection form in valves. It is suitable for pipelines with high pressure, high temperature or corrosive media. It has the advantages of easy installation, simple disassembly, and good sealing performance.
Butt-welding ball valve: The two ends of the valve body are processed into butt-welding grooves according to the butt-welding requirements, butt-welded with the pipeline welding grooves, and fixed on the pipeline by welding. It is suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter pipelines, with high connection strength and good sealing performance, and can withstand greater pressure and diameter.
Threaded ball valve: It is suitable for small-diameter and low-pressure pipelines through threaded connection. Threaded ball valves have compact structure, small size, light weight, easy installation and maintenance, and are widely used in construction, water treatment, food and other industries.
Clamp-connected sanitary ball valve: A quick connection method that only requires two bolts is suitable for occasions where disassembly is frequent, such as food and pharmaceutical industries with high hygiene requirements.
Welded connection ball valve: In addition to butt welding connection, it also includes socket welding connection. Both ends of the valve body are processed according to the requirements of socket welding and connected to the pipeline by socket welding. It is suitable for occasions that require a firm connection and are not easy to disassemble.
Sleeve connection ball valve: The connection and sealing principle is that when the nut is tightened, the ferrule is subjected to pressure, so that its blade bites into the outer wall of the pipe, and the outer conical surface of the ferrule is tightly fitted with the inner conical surface of the joint body under pressure, which can reliably prevent leakage.
Socket bonding ball valve: such as PVC double oil ball valve, suitable for the connection of plastic pipes.
Hot melt connection ball valve: such as PPR hot melt ball valve, connected to the pipeline by hot melt, suitable for PPR and other plastic pipeline systems.
