Ruduce bore ball valves are manufactured in accordance with API 6D. The valve is configured in a forged bolted two-piece split-body design with a small diameter, suitable for medium/low pressure working conditions. Characterized by simple design, the valve seats are directly inserted into the body.
The upstream flow pressure pushes the free-floating ball against the downstream seat-the resulting compression provides a perfect leak-free sealing solution.
The stem is connected at the top of the ball and allowing the valve to open and close with a quarter-turn movement.
Material selection is fully customizable to meet the customer's project specifications and several unique features are available offering an enhanced technical solution suitable for aggressive offshore environment and corrosive and abrasive fluids.

What matters need to be paid attention to during installation and operation?

·When installing and operating the floating ball valve, the following key matters need to be paid attention to to ensure its normal operation and extend its service life:

·Precautions during installation

·Installation location:

·The installation location should be away from the water inlet to avoid false operation caused by the fluctuation of the water inlet.

·If the switch is installed on the wall of the container pool, it is recommended to install an L-shaped angle steel bracket.

·If the switch is installed in the mixing area, a wave-proof pipe or a wave-proof baffle should be installed.

·Inner diameter of pipe:

·Select a flange connection pipe with an inner diameter larger than the diameter of the float.

·Wiring:

·It is recommended to use multi-core cable when wiring.

·The load of the controlled line must match the capacity of the float switch contact.

·Liquid specific gravity:

·The specific gravity of the measured liquid must be greater than the specific gravity of the float.

·Float position:

·The action point of the float has been adjusted according to the customer's order requirements at the factory. Please do not adjust the float position at will.

·Installation angle:

·Horizontal installation: Make sure the inclination angle is less than 5 degrees, and it is best to install it completely horizontally to avoid problems such as the valve being unable to close or getting stuck.

·Cleaning and inspection:

·Before installation, check the inner cavity and sealing surface of the valve to ensure that there is no dirt attached.

·Check whether the valve is stuck during opening or closing, whether the bolts and nuts are loose, whether the packing is compressed, etc.

·Precautions during operation

·Slow operation:

·When closing the valve, operate slowly to avoid forced closure that causes the valve to be unable to be completely closed, thereby causing leakage.

·Free rise of the float:

·Under the condition of water pressure, the float should be able to rise freely and completely close the valve when it contacts the upper end of the valve body.

·Safety protection:

·Pay attention to safety protection during operation, such as wearing protective gloves, goggles, etc.

·Regular inspection:

·Regularly check the operating status of the valve, including sealing performance, the gap between the ball and the valve seat, etc.

·Follow regulations:

·Follow relevant operating procedures and safety standards to ensure correct and safe operation.

·Following the above installation and operation precautions can ensure the normal operation of the floating ball valve and extend its service life.
