Full bore floating ball valves are manufactured in accordance with API 6D. The valve is configured in a forged bolted two-piece split-body design with a small diameter, suitable for medium/low pressure working conditions. Characterized by simple design, the valve seats are directly inserted into the body.
The upstream flow pressure pushes the free-floating ball against the downstream seat-the resulting compression provides a perfect leak-free sealing solution.
The stem is connected at the top of the ball and allowing the valve to open and close with a quarter-turn movement.
Material selection is fully customizable to meet the customer's project specifications and several unique features are available offering an enhanced technical solution suitable for aggressive offshore environment and corrosive and abrasive fluids.

How to operate floating ball valves correctly?

· To operate floating ball valves correctly, you need to follow the following steps and precautions to ensure the effective operation and extended service life of the valve:

· Preparation before operation

· Understand the valve type: First, confirm the type of valve and understand its basic structure and working principle.

· Check the valve status: Before operation, check whether the valve is in normal condition, including sealing performance, gap between ball and valve seat, etc.

· Manual operation

· Open the valve

· Rotate the handle counterclockwise: Rotate the handle of the valve counterclockwise to the maximum position to ensure that the valve is fully open.

· Observe the valve status: Observe whether the valve opens smoothly without obstruction or leakage.

· Adjust the flow rate

· Rotate the handle as needed: Rotate the handle counterclockwise or clockwise to gradually adjust the opening of the valve to control the flow rate.

· Monitor flow changes: During the adjustment process, monitor flow changes to ensure that the expected flow requirements are met.

· Close the valve

· Rotate the handle clockwise: Rotate the handle clockwise to the minimum position to ensure that the valve is fully closed.

· Check the valve status: Observe whether the valve is fully closed without leakage.

·Three, automatic operation

·For the automatically adjusted float valve, the following steps need to be followed:

·Install the electronic control system: Install the electronic control system on the float valve, connect the power supply and the controller, and ensure that the system works properly.

·Set the flow parameters: Set the flow parameters corresponding to the valve on the controller, such as the target flow value, start time, and close time.

·Start automatic control: After starting the automatic control mode on the controller, the electronic control system will automatically adjust the valve opening according to the preset flow parameters to achieve precise control of the flow.

·Four, precautions

·Avoid excessive operation: During operation, avoid excessive rotation of the handle or adjustment of the valve opening to avoid damage to the valve.

·Pay attention to safety protection: When operating the valve, pay attention to safety protection measures, such as wearing protective gloves, goggles, etc.

·Regular inspection: Regularly inspect and maintain the valve to ensure that it is in good condition.
