First, the material standard
1.1 The valve body and bonnet materials shall conform to the GB/T12229 standard, and the main classifications are cast steel, stainless steel, copper alloy and cast iron.
1.2 The material of the valve ball shall conform to the GB/T12230 standard, and the main categories are cast steel, stainless steel, titanium alloy and cast iron.
1.3 The materials of rotating parts and seals shall meet the GB12228 standards, and the main categories are high-temperature and corrosion-resistant materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, polyimide, fluoroelastomer and pentafluoroethylene.
Second, the size standard
2.1 The connection surface and size of the valve flange shall conform to the GB/T9113 standard.
2.2 The basic size design of the valve should conform to the JB/T3595 standard, the size of the ball valve is generally DN15~DN2000mm, and the pressure level is generally PN1.6~PN42MPa.
2.3 The manufacturing size of the valve shell and accessories shall conform to the JB/T3595 standard.
3. Test standards
3.1 The valve pressure test shall conform to the GB/T13927 standard, and the test pressure shall be different for different pressure levels. Generally, the test pressure of the ball valve < PN16MPa is 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the PN>16MPa is 1.25 times the nominal pressure.
3.2 The valve strength test shall conform to the JB/T3595 standard, in which the test water pressure shall be 1.5 times higher than the nominal pressure.
3.3 The valve sealing test shall conform to the GB/T26480 standard, mainly to test the tightness, leakage, high temperature resistance of the sealing material, etc.
The above are some of the general provisions of the ball valve manufacturing standard, and the formulation of the standard can ensure the reliability and safety of the ball valve in the process of use. At the same time, manufacturers should also set higher manufacturing standards according to specific application scenarios and requirements to ensure the quality and performance of valves.
