Tmbv Double Block&bleed Ball Valves, or Double Block and Bleed Ball Valves, are designed to achieve a double barrier on the pipe and to discharge the trapped fluid between the two spheres through a dedicated discharge line. This valve design has two seat sealing surfaces that, in the closed position, resist pressure from both ends of the valve by draining the valve chamber between the two sealing surfaces. When only one end of the valve is under pressure, this valve does not provide exact double isolation.

Product Introduction

Tmbv Double Block&bleed Ball Valves is design with double block and bleed function. With cylindrical forged body, we will apply soft seat( PTFE, RPTFE, DEVLON, NYLON, PEEK) as seat insert to achieve good sealing performance. If the working condition is high pressure and high temperature, we will carry out TCC or STELLITE surface treatment on ball and seat to ensure stability of sealing performance under such strict working environment.

DBB design can ensure the valve's common operation, even one block is temporarily ineffective.

Q: What are the differences between Side entry DBB ball valve and Top entry DBB ball valve?

A: 1. Installment Side entry ball valve:Ball is installed from the side of the valve body, which is resulting in a more compact structure. Consequently , maintenance for side-entry one requires disassembling the valve body or the pipeline. Our suggestion is that it suitable for scenarios with low maintenance frequency. Top entry ball valve:The ball is installed from the top of the valve body. During maintenance,we need to remove the top valve cover to replace ball or valve seat, without the need to dismantle the pipeline. 2. Cost Side entry ball valve:Because the ball will be installed from side of body, the body is usally integral structure. The price is more economical. Top entry ball valve:The structure for its body is usually split and the cost is higher than side-entry one,but this kind of valve is easy to maintain. 3. Sealing performance Side entry ball valve:The flow resistance is relatively low, the structure is simple, but the sealing surface is easily affected by the medium erosion. Top entry ball valve:The sealing performance is better. Some models adopt a spring pre-tightening design, which can automatically compensate for wear.

A: 1. Structure design Integral DBB ball valve: Doulble block and bleed function in single module, forged from premium material, compact structure, no leakage risk. Split DBB ball valve: Split body forged from premium material, Convenient maintainance, 2-piece body or 3-piece body. 2. Sealing performance Integral DBB ball valve: Integral forge body is suitable for high pressure and high temperature working condition.
